Just around the corner: Winter

It has been a while, school got a little busy on me there. But I thought today was a good day for another post, I was already looking pretty rad from church... (always a good reason to take some pics) and the sun was sort of shining. So as I sit here, house to myself, belting out Marianas Trench's killer new album (actually comes pretty close to the Masterpiece Theatre...) I present to you a little bit of fall fashion.

White Shorts: A Summer Staple

Since it seems to be getting less and less wonderful outside, I finally have time to post my last archived pics from the end of summer/fall.

If I ever don't know what to wear, bust out the white shorts and a blouse and we're good to go. 

The pics are a little bit more on the artsy side as I did not have a solid surface to set the camera on, therefore we got slanty, too much ground/sky, heads chopped off and leaves in the corners of pics. 

I thought for effect I'd leave them as is.

I tell ya, I LOVE fall

Today we went for a little journey to find the best leaves in town. And what did we find? A strip right along 6th street. Passerby's sure did love to stare. But crunching the leaves is just so much fun!

I dug into her closet, found some goodies, used some of my own and put together a cute little outfit (I think at least)

She may have been a little over dressed for the hot summer weather today, but I'm just so excited for fall fashion!

My Favorite Color: Mustard

My journey out West brought me a few great pieces. The first and favorite of the bunch is this mustard skirt from Banana Republic. Gotta love those 40% outlets!

Nautical/Color Blocking/Walmart Greeter

So here I am, taking a crack at blogging. I'm not one for writing and being creative with words, so I thought a fashion blog would be my best bet. The chosen outfit for my first post has a bit of nautical look to it, but as I was doing some afternoon errands, discovered that I fit right in with Walmart's color scheme {little embarrassing...} None the less, here is it.

 Adore my new LOVE ring / flee market pearl ring combo, mixed with my mint sorbet nails! Delightful !
